Common Nouns
Are non-specific people, places, or things / concepts.  A common noun is your everyday noun that you can see, touch or experience. * Common nouns don’t start with a Capital letter unless they start a sentence.

Proper Nouns
Are the specific names of months, days of the week, organisations, titles, places, books, plays, movies, newspapers, and more. A proper noun is a name given to people, places, companies, or brands. * Proper nouns always start with a Capital letter.

Michael Jackson is a man and Charlize Theron is a woman, and both of them have birthdays in August.
