Tshwane Youth Arts Festival 2017. This festival was founded in 1994, and is presented each year on the Opera Stage of the South African State Theatre. It runs over a period of 5 weeks giving more than 220 schools in the greater Gauteng and surrounding Provinces the opportunity of participating. This Festival is not a competition, and it inspires children of diverse cultures to make a difference in their lives never to be forgotten. These children perform on one of the most sought after theatres in Africa and perform as a team to broaden their horizons.
