The SA School of Cookery in Capital Park, Pretoria, provides professional training to young chefs in Chef Certificate, Chef Diploma and Patisserie Diploma Courses. The School offers a comprehensive curriculum, and train and teach these young chefs to enter the hospitality industry with confidence. The schooling level and/or age entry for the Professional Courses is Grade 12 or over 18 years of age. A variety of fun cooking and baking short courses are also available for people interested in improving their skills, or to learn more about a particular subject.

SA School of Cookery Professional Courses for 2013:

  • Advanced 1 Year Courses: 6 months concentrated theory and 6 months practical in the industry.
  • Classes from 08h00 till 12h00 & 13h00 till 17h00 (Monday’s to Friday’s)
  • Chef Certificate – Full Time (12 Months)
  • Chef Diploma- Full Time (12 Months)
  • Patisserie Diploma – Full Time (12 Months)
  • Chef Certificate – Part Time (12 Months)
  • Chef Diploma – Part Time (12 Months)
  • Patisserie Diploma – Part Time (12 Months)

  • Fun Courses: from 18h00 till 22h00 (Monday’s to Friday’s)
